About

David Derrer received his Bachelors in Physics from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, and his Masters in Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).  He worked with Suyama Peterson Deguchi, and other architecture firms prior to founding his own practice.   

David has worked in carpentry and construction, repaired bikes, built kayaks, and canvassed for Greenpeace. He bicycles, spends time out on the water and coaches the middle school math team.  He and his wife raised their son and daughter on Vashon Island.
